EPEX, a rising K-pop group under C9 Entertainment, is set to make history by becoming the first South Korean idol group to hold a concert in China in nearly a decade.
The concert, titled YOUTH DEFICIENCY, will take place at the MAAQUU X CH8 Livehouse in Fuzhou on May 31, 2025.

This marks the first concert by a full South Korean idol group in China since the 2016 THAAD crisis, which led to a significant halt in Korean idol activities in the country.
While international acts have continued to perform in China during this period, Korean groups have largely been restricted, making EPEX’s performance a significant milestone.
EPEX has actively engaged with their Chinese fanbase through various activities, including photo shoots, magazine interviews, and fan signing events in cities like Shanghai and Qingdao.

Their ongoing “YOUTH DEFICIENCY” concert series, which began in Seoul in December 2024, will also bring performances to Macau (May 3) and Taipei (May 24), culminating in the concert in Fuzhou.
Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates, and the group’s efforts to reconnect with Chinese fans are expected to generate a great deal of excitement ahead of the concert.
