Rami of rookie sensation BABYMONSTER will be taking a temporary break from group activities due to ongoing health concerns, as confirmed by YG Entertainment on May 9, 2025.

The announcement comes just days before the group’s Asia tour is set to kick off in Singapore on May 17.

In an official statement, YG revealed that despite Rami’s dedication and continued treatment since debut, her condition has not improved sufficiently.

Following medical advice, she will be stepping away from all scheduled performances and promotions to focus entirely on recovery.

“Her health and well-being are our top priority,” the agency emphasized, asking for fans’ understanding and support during her hiatus.

Rami’s absence will affect BABYMONSTER’s tour dates through the end of June. The group, however, is not slowing down.

The remaining six members have restructured their performances and are preparing new cover stages with added determination to deliver a memorable tour experience.

BABYMONSTER’s world tour marks a significant milestone, coming just a year after their debut.

Their rapid rise and strong fanbase have made them one of the most talked-about new girl groups, and this tour was highly anticipated by fans across Asia.

As fans express concern and send well-wishes to Rami, YG has promised to share updates on her recovery and future activities in due course.

In the meantime, the group will carry on with six members, promising an unforgettable stage experience while keeping Rami in their hearts and minds.

We join fans in wishing Rami a safe, full, and speedy recovery.
