In a sudden but respectful announcement, Woollim Entertainment revealed on May 12 that Lee Hyeop and Kim Dongyun, two members of the boy group DRIPPIN, will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities due to unspecified personal schedules.

The agency issued a brief official statement:

“Due to personal schedules, Lee Hyeop and Kim Dongyun will not be participating in DRIPPIN’s group activities for the time being. We sincerely apologize for the sudden announcement and any concern this may cause to fans. We kindly ask for your generous understanding.”

The notice, though sparse on details, has left fans with mixed emotions—many expressing concern over the duo’s well-being while also hoping for their return in good health and spirits.

The term “personal schedules” is often a broad industry euphemism, potentially referring to anything from individual projects and health breaks to private matters.

This hiatus marks another change for DRIPPIN’s lineup this year, following Hwang Yunseong’s military enlistment announcement earlier in March.

With only four active members now, fans are curious about how DRIPPIN will move forward with promotions or planned events.

DRIPPIN debuted in 2020 under Woollim Entertainment and has since gained a dedicated fanbase for their high-energy performances, synchronized choreography, and youthful charm.

Both Lee Hyeop and Kim Dongyun have been praised not only for their vocal and stage talents but also for their strong fan engagement.

For now, supporters of the group are rallying behind the hashtag #WeSupportDRIPPIN to show solidarity with all members, wishing Lee Hyeop and Kim Dongyun a restful or productive time away, whatever the reason may be.
