On May 15, VLAST, the agency behind virtual K-pop boy group PLAVE, issued a stern statement regarding legal measures to protect the members’ privacy and rights.

They announced that they are actively monitoring and taking action against malicious activity targeting the group, including stalking, defamation, and privacy invasions.

The agency confirmed that they had already filed lawsuits against individuals who exposed the members’ identities online or posted malicious content.

Some perpetrators have already been sentenced to fines, and others are currently under investigation by the police.

VLAST also shared that they are pursuing criminal punishment for individuals engaging in stalking, backed by evidence like CCTV footage.

VLAST made it clear that they will take a zero-tolerance stance on such violations, stressing that there is no justification for obtaining or sharing the members’ private information, including their locations and personal lives.

They thanked fans for their support in reporting harmful activities and emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy fan culture.

In the meantime, PLAVE’s upcoming debut single ‘Hide & Seek’ will be released digitally on June 16 and physically on July 9 in Japan.
