South Korean boy group SEVENTEEN recently marked a remarkable milestone in their career by becoming the first K-pop artist to hold a concert on Jamsu Bridge in Seoul.
The event, titled ‘B-DAY PARTY: BURST Stage’, was held as part of the ongoing Annual Car-Free Festival, a popular eight-week event that transforms the Jamsu Bridge area in Banpo-dong into a pedestrian-only space every Sunday.
This festival features food trucks, interactive attractions, contests, and live performances, offering a vibrant atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
For this historic occasion, SEVENTEEN performed a dynamic one-hour setlist for around 6,000 enthusiastic fans gathered on the bridge, while also broadcasting the concert through LED screens around Hangang Park to reach an even wider audience.

Among the highlights of the concert was the surprise debut of “THUNDER,” the title track from their upcoming fifth full-length album, HAPPY BURSTDAY, set to release on May 26, 2025.
The concert not only celebrated SEVENTEEN’s tenth anniversary but also showcased their ongoing creativity and connection with fans.
The event drew praise for more than just the performance. Fans were commended for voluntarily tidying up their seating area afterward, demonstrating the respectful and caring spirit that SEVENTEEN’s fandom is known for.
The concert’s success cements SEVENTEEN’s influence in the K-pop scene, combining innovative concert locations with fan engagement in unique ways.
The Annual Car-Free Festival will continue until June 22, maintaining the bridge as a lively hub for cultural and community events every Sunday.
SEVENTEEN’s landmark concert on Jamsu Bridge is sure to be remembered as a groundbreaking moment in K-pop history.
