On May 2, 2025, media outlets reported that TWICE’s Jihyo has made a significant real estate investment, purchasing a building in Sungsu-dong, Seoul, for approximately 4 billion KRW (around $2.8 million USD).
The building, constructed in 1986, consists of one basement floor and three above-ground floors.
The property houses a real estate office and a restaurant on the first floor, offices on the second, and residential units on the third.

Jihyo reportedly paid the full amount in cash, as no mortgage was listed in the purchase records.
The purchase took place in March 2024, and by the end of that month, the building was transferred into her name.
By April 2024, she had registered as a residential landlord, and the building was officially listed as a rental property.
Experts believe that Jihyo made the purchase with an eye on future value, as the building is located near the Han River redevelopment zone, which is expected to see significant growth in the coming years.

This acquisition showcases Jihyo’s savvy approach to investment, beyond just her music career.
Fans and experts alike are taking note of this move as Jihyo’s growing business portfolio continues to expand.
