YG Entertainment is set for a massive year ahead, as founder Yang Hyun Suk revealed exciting comeback and debut plans in a newly released announcement video on May 26 at midnight KST.

The video outlined upcoming activities for fan-favorite groups BLACKPINK, BABYMONSTER, and TREASURE, as well as teased the debut of two brand-new groups.

BLACKPINK fans have much to anticipate, with Yang Hyun Suk confirming that the group is preparing for their long-awaited world tour and a new song.

Although the release date hasn’t been finalized, he assured fans that an official update is on the horizon.

BABYMONSTER will be making a powerful return starting July 1 with the new single “HOT SAUCE.”

This marks the first step in a carefully structured comeback plan, followed by another pre-release single in September and a full mini album release on October 1.

The mini album will include a total of four tracks, two of which are “HOT SAUCE” and the September single.

TREASURE is also working on a new mini album, currently scheduled for release on September 1.

After completing their promotional activities, they will embark on a world tour starting in October, further expanding their global footprint.

Looking ahead to new talent, Yang Hyun Suk revealed that YG has two trainee boy groups and two trainee girl groups currently in development. The company plans to debut one of the boy groups next year.

However, Yang expressed particular enthusiasm about an upcoming four-member girl group, which he aims to debut in a similar fashion to BABYMONSTER—by gradually revealing each member to the public.

The first member will be introduced on May 28 at midnight KST, and solo music releases for the members are also planned for next year.

This strategic announcement reinforces YG’s ongoing commitment to producing high-impact artists and maintaining a strong presence in the global K-pop scene.
