Stray Kids’ Seungmin celebrated his birthday on September 22 by giving back in a deeply meaningful way.

The singer donated 100 million KRW (approximately $71,767 USD) to Child Fund Korea, a children’s welfare organization.

The donation will specifically go toward supporting young carers—children and teens who shoulder adult responsibilities within their families at a young age.

“I hope children who must take on adult responsibilities can set down their burdens, even for a moment,” Seungmin shared.

“I hope my support lightens their load and gives them the strength to dream about the future.”

A Pattern of Quiet Generosity

This isn’t Seungmin’s first act of kindness:nnIn 2024, he donated another 100 million KRW to support young adults transitioning into independence.
