On October 31, SM Entertainment officially announced that both artists will soon begin their mandatory military service. According to the agency, Doyoung and Jungwoo will enlist as active-duty soldiers and fulfill their responsibilities in the South Korean military.
Doyoung is scheduled to enlist first, with Jungwoo set to follow shortly after. The agency explained that the two members made the decision to carry out their service as active-duty soldiers after completing the necessary preparations.

We would like to inform you that NCT’s Doyoung and Jungwoo will be enlisting in the military.
Doyoung will enlist as an active-duty soldier on November 20, and Jungwoo will enlist as an active-duty soldier on November 25.
To prevent safety issues due to congestion on the day of enlistment, the location and time of their enlistment will not be disclosed, and there will be no separate official event.
