According to media reports on May 8, 2025, Nam Tae Hyun was involved in a car accident on April 27, 2025, on the Gangbyeon Expressway near Dongjak Bridge.

As of now, the Seoul Yongsan Police have confirmed that the case will be sent to prosecution after further investigation.
Nam Tae Hyun was scheduled to perform at a festival in Hongdae on May 6, 2025, but his appearance was canceled just days before, on May 4.

This recent DUI case marks another setback for Nam Tae Hyun, who has faced numerous personal and legal challenges in the past few years.
Fans and the public are awaiting further developments on both his legal troubles and upcoming career endeavors.
