The battle for the throne is almost over, and World of Street Woman Fighter just gave us its most heartbreaking episode yet.
On July 15, Mnet aired Episode 8 of WSWF, where the semifinal dance crews fought tooth and nail for a spot in the live finale. While AG SQUAD, OSAKA Ojo Gang, MOTIV, and BUMSUP all delivered unforgettable performances, only three would survive the cut.
Dance Film Mission: “WOMAN” Becomes a Statement
This week’s main challenge was the Dance Film Mission, themed around “Woman.” The episode was built around a short film where each crew choreographed and performed their own segments, blending storytelling with bold visuals.
-
AG SQUAD stunned with chair props and a performance dripping with dominance.
-
BUMSUP paid homage to their legacy and spirit as industry pioneers.
-
MOTIV redefined the image of a queen with fierce stage presence.
-
OSAKA Ojo Gang placed centre Kyoka in the spotlight and captured hearts globally.
As voted by international viewers, OSAKA Ojo Gang’s section became the main segment of the film — a huge win leading into the final scoring.
AG SQUAD Named Best Dance Crew
The sub-missions included:
-
“Fallen Queen” by BUMSUP
-
“Neon Switch” by AG SQUAD
-
“West Coast Groove” by MOTIV — with a surprise bonus segment
The judges — Park Jin-young and Mike Song — unanimously crowned AG SQUAD as the best overall crew, handing them extra points and a clear path to the final.
AG SQUAD was the first to make it to the finale, followed by OSAKA Ojo Gang, thanks to their strong global votes and standout storytelling.
MOTIV vs BUMSUP: One Final Battle, Five Brutal Rounds
That left BUMSUP and MOTIV to face off in a five-round elimination match — and it was as intense as fans feared.
Joining the panel were dance legends Poppin’C, KITE, and Lia Kim. MOTIV won round one with a fierce group routine. But BUMSUP bounced back in round two with Honey J and Rihey delivering a jaw-dropping duo, followed by Lip J taking the solo win in round three.
Despite the momentum, MOTIV took rounds four and five, sealing the deal and advancing to the finale.
A Painful Goodbye for BUMSUP
The loss hit hard. BUMSUP, made up of OG legends from Street Woman Fighter Season 1, couldn’t hold back tears.
Honey J sobbed, “Just meeting these members made me happy.”
Aiki added, “We’re not just a crew anymore — we’re family.”
It was the most emotional moment of the season so far.
