The rankings were determined by analyzing big data collected between November 6 and December 6. The institute evaluated a range of indicators related to 50 popular entertainers, including consumer participation, media coverage, interaction levels, and community awareness.
These metrics reflect how frequently each personality was discussed across media platforms and how audiences responded to them during the evaluation period.
Yoo Jae Suk once again secured the No. 1 position, continuing his long-standing dominance in the rankings. For December, he recorded a brand reputation index of 4,081,571. In his keyword analysis, phrases such as “Running Man,” “You Quiz on the Block,” and “Whenever Possible” ranked highly, reflecting the programs that contributed significantly to his continued popularity.
Related terms frequently associated with him included “talk,” “consistent,” and “advertise.” His positivity–negativity analysis also showed strong public sentiment, with 85.27 percent of reactions categorized as positive.
Jun Hyun Moo maintained his position in second place with a brand reputation index of 3,387,688. His score saw a notable rise of 27.69 percent compared to the previous month, indicating increased public engagement and media exposure.
Kim Jong Kook climbed to third place with a brand reputation index of 2,369,392. Although the increase was modest, his score still rose by 0.42 percent from November, reflecting steady public interest in his ongoing variety show appearances.
Shin Dong Yup followed closely in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,364,188. His score experienced a substantial growth of 26.46 percent since last month, demonstrating a significant rise in attention and discussion surrounding his activities.
Lee Sang Min rounded out the top five after recording one of the most dramatic increases in the rankings. His brand reputation index surged by an impressive 239.98 percent compared to the previous month, bringing his total score for December to 2,014,774.
