143 Entertainment, the agency representing Kang Ye-seo and Mashiro, announced on May 16th that they are currently deliberating the extension of their activities with the project girl group Kep1er. The agency stated, “The decision on whether our artists Kang Ye-seo and Mashiro will extend their activities with Kep1er has not been made yet. We have been discussing this matter until yesterday and are carefully reviewing the details.”

Kep1er, a project group formed through Mnet’s “Girls Planet 999” in August 2021, was initially set for a 2-year and 6-month activity period from their debut.

However, CJ ENM, managing Kep1er through its subsidiaries Wake One and Swing Entertainment, is advocating for an extension of the group’s activities beyond the original schedule. Discussions are ongoing with each member’s agency to finalize the decision.

In the midst of these discussions, Kep1er is preparing to release its first full-length album titled “Kep1going On” on June 3rd, heightening anticipation among fans for their future activities and potential extensions beyond the original timeline.
