BABYMONSTER is experiencing a surge in recognition and popularity following the return of Ahyeon. On April 5, it was disclosed that BABYMONSTER achieved remarkable milestones, securing the second-highest position for first-week album sales among girl groups.

The group’s inaugural mini-album, ‘BABYMONS7ER,’ is making waves on the Hanteo album sales chart.

At present, the album has reached 332,636 album sales in its first week, trailing just behind the record set by ILLIT’s “Super Real Me,” which amassed 380,056 album sales upon its release last week.

However, there is optimism that the group might surpass ILLIT’s first-week sales record, as there are still several days remaining until the end of their debut week.

Korean netizens commented,

“Their debut is going back and forth.”

“Congrats to Yang Hyun Suk’s group.”

“I wonder if BABYMONSTER will reach rank 1.”

“I hope they do well because they’re all talented.”

“Their songs are really good.”
