Bang Yedam first gained public attention in 2013 as a 10-year-old on SBS’s survival program K-Pop Star Season 2, earning praise for his remarkable vocal talent and performance skills. He finished as the runner-up, earning nicknames like “Korea’s Justin Bieber” and “Little Michael Jackson.”
After seven years of training at YG Entertainment, he debuted with TREASURE, where he gained a dedicated fanbase. However, in November 2022, Bang Yedam and fellow member Mashiho left TREASURE and YG Entertainment, surprising fans. About a year later, he signed with GF Entertainment, the agency behind the boy group KINGDOM.
