BLACKPINK’s Jennie has achieved a significant milestone in the United Kingdom’s music industry! The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) revealed on March 8 local time that “One of the Girls,” her collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp from their HBO series “The Idol,” has been officially certified with a BRIT silver certification.

According to the BPI’s certification thresholds, singles receive a silver certification after selling 200,000 units, whereas albums achieve silver certification after selling 60,000 units.

She has secured her place in history as the first female K-pop soloist to attain a silver certification for a single in the United Kingdom.

She joins the ranks of only two other Korean solo artists, PSY and BTS’s Jungkook, in achieving this milestone.
