Mnet’s next big global idol project, “BOYS II PLANET,” has officially announced its expert trainer and special idol master lineup, raising excitement for its July premiere.
Following the massive success of its predecessor “BOYS PLANET”—which launched groups like ZEROBASEONE—this new season promises an even more diverse and high-caliber production.
What Is “BOYS II PLANET”?
Designed as a global K-pop survival show, BOYS II PLANET allows fans around the world to participate in the formation of a brand-new boy group.
With contestants hailing from various countries, the program aims to blend global charm with top-tier K-pop training to form the next sensation in the industry.
Expert Trainer Lineup
Split into two branches—BOYS II PLANET K (Korean-based trainees) and BOYS II PLANET C (Chinese-based trainees)—the show has assembled 10 highly respected trainers across vocals, dance, and rap:
BOYS II PLANET K
- Vocal Master: Lee Seok Hoon – Veteran vocalist known for his emotional delivery and technical finesse.
- Dance Masters: Kinky and Kany – Acclaimed choreographers with cutting-edge style and stage sense.
BOYS II PLANET C
- Kim Jae Joong – K-pop legend bringing unmatched vocal and performance wisdom.
- Kep1er’s Xiaoting – Idol insight from a 4th-gen global girl group member.
