BTS fans around the world tuned in on March 21 at 8 PM KST for the Netflix-streamed comeback show for the group’s fifth full-length album, ARIRANG. While the performance itself received praise, many viewers quickly noticed a technical issue: subtitles lagging behind the music. Lyrics often appeared one to two seconds after they were sung, disrupting the viewing experience for fans trying to follow along.

Although some acknowledged that live conversations during the broadcast could naturally cause delays, many pointed out that the setlist and lyrics were pre-prepared, making the timing issue confusing. The frustration led some viewers to turn subtitles off entirely to enjoy the performance more smoothly.
Despite these minor technical setbacks, the show marked BTS’s first full-group performance in over three years since Yet to Come in Busan in October 2022. Their album ARIRANG also sold an impressive 3.98 million copies on its first day, reinforcing the group’s massive global reach and popularity.
