On February 15, V shared an update on Weverse, revealing his current weight as 72.5kg (160 lbs) and hinted at more updates to come. To be more precise, he wrote to fans saying,
“Time for a check-in. Currently weighing in at 72.5kg (160 lbs). Stay tuned for more updates.”
Before enlisting, V had a slim and slender figure, weighing 62kg (137 lbs) at a height of 179 cm (5’10”). No wonder, how greatly the Kpop idols maintain their figure.
V enlisted on December 11 last year through the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungnam. He is currently serving in the 2nd Infantry Division, Ssangyong Unit, located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, to fulfill his military service.
Before his enlistment, during a live broadcast, V surprised fans by announcing his intention to increase his weight to ’86kg’ (190 lbs) to enhance his physical strength during military service.
During the same broadcast, V also assured his fellow members, stating,
“I’ll bulk up and return,” showcasing his determination to cultivate a more masculine physique.
Fans eagerly anticipate the changes in V’s appearance, speculating that he may exceed 80kg, noting that his height will further enhance his charm. V’s discharge date is currently set for June 10, 2025.
