Cho Sae Ho’s agency has issued an official statement denying recent allegations that linked the entertainer to illegal financial activities.

On December 5, A2Z Entertainment addressed rumors that had recently circulated online, which claimed that Cho Sae Ho was connected to organized crime involved in money laundering. The agency firmly denied the accusations and emphasized that the claims were unfounded.

According to the agency, the rumors stemmed from statements made by an informant identified as “A,” who was reportedly cited as the source behind a media report published on December 4.

The report, titled “Cho Sae Ho Allegedly Linked to Organized Crime Involved in Illegal Money Laundering,” suggested that the entertainer had ties to an individual named Choi and implied possible involvement in the alleged illegal activities.

In response, A2Z Entertainment clarified that the claims made by the informant were based purely on personal speculation and did not reflect the truth. The agency stated that the allegation that Cho Sae Ho was personally acquainted with Choi and had either directly or indirectly participated in the alleged actions was entirely inaccurate.

The company also addressed another claim raised by the same informant, which alleged that Cho Sae Ho had received money or expensive gifts from Choi. According to the agency, this accusation was likewise based on unsupported assumptions and had no factual basis.

A2Z Entertainment stated that it is currently reviewing the possibility of taking strong legal action against the informant. The agency noted that both criminal and civil measures are being considered, including legal responses related to defamation caused by the spread of false information as well as obstruction of business.

The company further emphasized that it will respond firmly to any malicious rumors or unfounded claims that could interfere with the artist’s professional activities. The agency added that it plans to take strict action against individuals responsible for creating or distributing false accusations, defamatory content, and harmful online posts.

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

Hello. This is A2Z Entertainment.

We would like to provide our official statement regarding the December 4, 2025 report titled “Cho Sae Ho Allegedly Linked to Organized Crime Involved in Illegal Money Laundering,” as well as related follow-up reports concerning our artist Cho Sae Ho.

The informant known as “A,” who is said to be the source of the report, claimed through their social media account that Cho Sae Ho is personally acquainted with Mr. Choi and has suggested that “Cho Sae Ho was directly or indirectly involved in Choi’s actions.” However, this is nothing more than A’s personal speculation, and we clearly state that it is not true.

Additionally, A has alleged that “Cho Sae Ho received money or expensive gifts from Choi.” This, too, is entirely based on A’s personal assumptions and has no basis in fact.

A2Z Entertainment is currently reviewing active legal action, both criminal and civil, against A for defamation through the dissemination of false information about our artist, as well as obstruction of business.

Furthermore, in order to prevent our artist’s activities from being hindered by the reckless spread of false claims, we will respond strictly and without leniency to the creation and distribution of baseless slander, malicious posts, false information, and rumors.
