At K-Pop Radar, accuracy, transparency, and reader trust come before traffic. This page outlines how every article on this site is researched, written, fact-checked, and corrected.
Editorial Independence
Our newsroom is editorially independent. Coverage decisions are made by our editors based on news value, audience interest, and verifiable evidence — never on the basis of advertiser preferences, affiliate relationships, or external pressure. Sponsored content, when present, is clearly labelled as such.
How We Source Stories
Every story is built on at least one of the following: original reporting, on-record interviews, primary documents, official statements, or coverage from a verified upstream source we can credibly link to. We do not republish unverified rumours from anonymous social-media accounts as fact.
Fact-Checking Process
Before publication, every article goes through a multi-step review:
- Source verification — every factual claim is matched to a citable source, and direct quotes are checked against the original.
- Editor review — a second editor reads the draft for accuracy, tone, and balance.
- Final pass — headlines and image captions are reviewed separately to ensure they reflect the body of the piece.
Corrections Policy
If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and publicly. Substantive corrections are noted directly on the article with the date and a brief explanation of what changed. Minor typo and formatting fixes are made silently. We never quietly remove or alter the substance of a published article without an accompanying correction notice.
To report a factual error, email [email protected] with the article URL and the specific claim you believe is incorrect.
Use of AI
Articles are written by named human writers. Where AI tools are used to assist research, transcription, summarisation, or first drafts, the article is labelled accordingly (look for the disclosure beside the byline). AI-assisted articles are reviewed and edited by a human before publication. We do not publish unedited AI output.
Author Bylines & Expertise
Every article carries a real human byline linking to that author’s profile, including their relevant background and expertise. We do not use pseudonyms or composite bylines without disclosure.
Reviews & Affiliate Disclosures
When we review a product or service, our scoring is independent. Where we link to a retailer, we may earn a small affiliate commission at no extra cost to you — but a commission relationship never influences whether a review is positive or negative. Affiliate-bearing articles carry a clear disclosure.
Plagiarism
We do not tolerate plagiarism. All article text is original to K-Pop Radar. Where we quote or summarise another publication, we link to the original source.
Reader Feedback
If you have a tip, a complaint, or a suggestion, email [email protected]. We read everything and respond to substantive editorial feedback within 5 business days.
