(G)I-DLE member Yuqi featured as a guest on the February 1 episode of the YouTube show ‘No Back Tak’, hosted by Tak Jae Hoon.
During this episode, Yuqi revealed that (G)I-DLE is set to make a comeback with a confident new song titled “Super Lady.”
When discussing Yuqi’s Instagram followers, host Tak Jae Hoon inquired, “When does your contract with your company expire?”
With a smile, Yuqi responded, “I only have about a year and 3 months left.” Tak Jae Hoon commented, “You just seemed really excited about that,” while co-host Shin Gyu Jin added, “That was the only genuine smile you showed this whole time.”
Once more, Tak Jae Hoon questioned Yuqi, stating, “Was that a year and 6 months now?” Yuqi corrected him, saying, “Three months! No, four months? Wait, no, it’s [a year and] three months now.”
Shin Gyu Jin jokingly remarked, “You know what you remind me of? The boys after they go off to the military. They count how many days they have left until their discharge every single day.” Yuqi clarified, “No, no, I love Cube.”
Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE debuted in May 2018, indicating that the group’s exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment will be up for renewal sometime in 2025.
