Among his numerous achievements, Shinsadong Tiger is widely recognized for his contributions to some of K-pop’s most iconic groups.

From T-ara’s catchy ‘Roly-Poly’ to Apink’s beloved anthems ‘NoNoNo’ and ‘Remember’, his portfolio boasts a collection of chart-topping hits. Notably, his collaborations with EXID on tracks like ‘Up & Down’ and ‘DDD’, along with Momoland’s viral sensation ‘BBoom BBoom’, solidified his status as one of the industry’s most influential producers.

Following the initial announcement of a temporary suspension of activities as a mark of respect, TR Entertainment, TRI.BE’s label, has stated that promotions will soon resume.

In their statement, they conveyed the heavy hearts felt due to the sudden passing of producer Shinsadong Tiger (Lee Ho Yang) on February 23, 2024.

We respectfully honor the family’s request to refrain from speculations and conjectures surrounding this sudden loss.

The wake will take place at St. Mary’s Hospital in Seoul, while the funeral proceedings and burial will be conducted quietly and privately, in accordance with the family’s wishes, with only close family members, relatives, and colleagues in attendance.

The members of TRI.BE, who have been supported by Shinsadong Tiger since their debut, are profoundly shocked and saddened by the news.

“However, as the new album was one that Shinsadong Tiger and the members of TRI.BE prepared together for the last time before his death, it has been decided that TRI.BE will continue their comeback promotions for ‘Diamond’ as planned in the hopes of carrying out the producer’s final wishes.

Cherishing the affection and support that Shinsadong Tiger has shown them from debut until now, TRI.BE will do their best for the remainder of their promotions so that the producer’s last album can shine brightly.

The label also promises to help the members of TRI.BE find comfort while they continue their broadcast activities.

Finally, we ask for your prayers for the deceased. Once again, we express deep sorrow as we wish the deceased a restful final journey,” concluded the note.
