MAMAMOO’s Hwa Sa has disclosed the name of her fandom. It will be called ‘TWITS’,” the singer revealed, adding that the word holds a special significance for her.
She explained,
“This is what I always call my fans too ‘Twits.’ When you hear the word ‘Twit’ at first, it might sound like a curse. But to me, the word ‘Twit’ is used for someone who gives unconditional love to someone else like a Twit. I personally like words like ‘Twit’.”
Hwa Sa also took to her Instagram story to announce the fandom name. Sharing a photo with the phrase “Who wants to be a Twits?” she officially named her fandom ‘Twits.’
In February 2019, Hwa Sa made her solo debut with the song “Twit,” which soared to the top of the Circle Digital Chart and clinched the Song of the Year title at the Gaon Chart Music Awards.
