iKON’s Kim Donghyuk, better known as DK, has officially announced his enlistment date for mandatory military service.

On June 9, 143 Entertainment, DK’s agency, confirmed that he has applied to join the Army Military Band and recently received his final acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration. DK plans to enlist as an active-duty soldier on July 28, 2025.

Due to the presence of many soldiers and their families on the day of enlistment at the Recruit Training Center, the agency will not hold a separate event to ensure safety, asking fans for their understanding.

Fans are encouraged to continue supporting DK as he begins this important chapter of his life, with hopes for his safe and healthy completion of military service.

The announcement also reflects the agency’s gratitude to iKONIC, iKON’s devoted fanbase, and encourages ongoing love and support for DK until his return.
