IU was observed attending a wedding ceremony for her backing vocalist.
On January 3, pictures of IU singing at a wedding gained popularity on social media and online communities. As per reports, the singer-songwriter was present at the wedding of her longtime backing vocalist Sohyun.
IU performed “The Meaning of You” as the celebratory song for Sohyun and personally disclosed their special working relationship spanning the past 10 years. The bride also joined in, harmonizing with her.
IU has made notable appearances at various weddings, including ‘My Mister’ co-star Chae Do Hyung’s, where she sang a congratulatory song. In 2019, she performed at her best friend Yoo In Na’s manager’s wedding, and she also lent her voice for former T-ara member Jiyeon and Hwang Jae Gyun’s wedding.
In other news, IU is gearing up for a comeback with ‘The Winning’ on February 20 KST, following her pre-release single “Love Wins All.”
