Jang Won Young from IVE continues her legal battle against notorious YouTuber Sojang without compromise. On March 6, her label Starship Entertainment stated,
“As we’ve said, we plan to continue the lawsuit with no settlement, so we have no separate comment to make.”
Reports indicate that the potential for a settlement between the involved parties was raised. However, Starship Entertainment and Jang Won Young remained steadfast in their stance, affirming that there is no room for settlement or leniency towards Sojang.
The Seoul Central District Court had previously ruled that Sojang must pay 100 million won ($74,951 USD) in damages, a verdict she appealed.
The notorious YouTuber is accused of spreading false information and malicious rumors about Jang Won Young, purportedly even hiring individuals to generate negative comments about the IVE member.
