IVE’s Jang Won Young has emerged victorious once again in her legal battle against YouTuber Sojang. Reports on May 14 disclosed that Sojang has been prosecuted without detention for defamation and slander against Jang Won Young.
Sojang has been directed to compensate 100 million won ($73,125.07 USD) in the civil lawsuit.
In March, Starship Entertainment, her label, declared their determination to pursue legal action against Sojang, who had appealed the previous judgment.
Sojang had previously been ordered to pay the same amount for spreading false information and malicious rumors about Jang Won Young, including allegedly hiring individuals to post malicious comments about her.
