XANADU Entertainment, representing the late Park Bo-ram, issued a stern statement on April 14th denouncing the proliferation of malicious rumors and false information about the deceased singer.

In their announcement, XANADU expressed grave concern over the indiscriminate spread of defamatory posts and comments containing unverified claims across online platforms. The agency emphasized that such actions not only perpetuate harm but also amount to a criminal act that further victimizes the deceased.

“We urge for the immediate removal of all false and speculative content,” stated XANADU. “Failure to comply will result in strong legal measures, encompassing civil and criminal actions, which will persist beyond the funeral proceedings.”

Additionally, XANADU assured the public that they would provide updates regarding funeral arrangements and the cause of Park Bo-ram’s death as soon as the details were confirmed.

Meanwhile, according to the Namyangju Nambu Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, Park Bo-ram was discovered collapsed in a bathroom at an acquaintance’s residence around 9:55 p.m. on April 11th.

Emergency services were alerted after her companions found her unresponsive, leading to her transport to the hospital. Unfortunately, Park Bo-ram passed away at the age of 30 at approximately 11:17 a.m.

Law enforcement officials have ruled out foul play based on initial investigations. The National Forensic Service will conduct an autopsy to ascertain the precise cause of death. The police continue to investigate this tragic incident with utmost diligence and sensitivity.
