Actress Nana was recently involved in a frightening incident at her home after a man reportedly broke into the residence and attempted to carry out an armed robbery.
On November 15, authorities from the Guri Police Station confirmed that they had taken a man in his thirties into custody on charges of attempted armed robbery. According to the police, the suspect allegedly entered Nana’s house in Guri and threatened the occupants with a weapon while demanding money.
At the time of the incident, Nana and her mother were inside the home. Reports state that the two confronted the intruder and managed to restrain him after a physical struggle. After subduing the suspect, they immediately contacted the police for assistance.
When officers arrived at the scene, the suspect had already sustained injuries during the altercation. He was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment while the investigation continues.
Nana’s agency, SUBLIME, later confirmed that the incident had taken place and stated that authorities were looking into the situation.
“It’s true that a robber broke into Nana’s home,” said Nana’s agency, SUBLIME. “The police are currently investigating, and we will share further details at a later time.”
The agency also addressed concerns regarding the well-being of Nana and her family following the confrontation. According to the statement, neither Nana nor her mother sustained serious injuries during the incident.
“The police are currently investigating the situation,” the agency reiterated, adding that additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
The incident has drawn attention due to the unusual circumstances in which the actress and her mother reportedly managed to stop the intruder themselves before authorities arrived. Police are continuing their investigation into the attempted robbery and the events leading up to the break-in.
