NewJeans’ Hanni and ADOR CEO Kim Joo Young are facing an important moment as they have been summoned to the National Assembly’s Environment and Labor Committee.

The audit session is set for October 25th and aims to address serious workplace harassment claims made by Hanni.

On September 30th, the committee officially confirmed the decision to summon Hanni as a reference for the audit. Kim Joo Young, the CEO of ADOR, will attend as a witness to explain the company’s handling of the situation.

After this experience, Hanni reported the matter to CEO Kim Joo Young, hoping for a proper response.

Unfortunately, she was informed that no significant action could be taken due to a lack of evidence and that it was too late to address the issue effectively.

During her broadcast, Hanni expressed her disappointment, saying, “I realized there was no one left to protect us.”

Her remarks quickly gained attention, with fans expressing concern for her well-being and calling for better treatment of idols.

The audit session on October 25th aims to further investigate the issue and hold ADOR accountable.

Even though Hanni and Kim Joo Young have been summoned, they could be excused from attending if they submit a valid reason for non-attendance. However, the committee reserves the right to still require Kim Joo Young’s attendance as a witness.

This situation has sparked widespread concern among NewJeans fans, as many are now questioning how their favourite idols are treated behind the scenes.

The lack of action from ADOR has only intensified these worries, especially given the prominence of the group in the K-pop industry.
