Fans of legendary K-pop girl group 2NE1 were left puzzled after the group performed as a trio at the Head In The Clouds music festival in Los Angeles on June 1, 2025, notably missing member Park Bom.

Despite Park Bom’s recent Instagram post appearing to place her in LA around the time of the show, her agency, D-Nation, has now clarified the situation to ease fan worries about the group’s future and dynamics.

According to an official statement from D-Nation, Park Bom had been in Los Angeles for separate commitments but had already returned to South Korea by mid-May.

The Instagram post that sparked confusion was shared near the group’s LA performance date, but she was no longer in the city at that time.

The agency also revealed that Park Bom’s absence from the performance was due to scheduling conflicts.

Importantly, this was a mutual decision agreed upon by all members of 2NE1 well in advance, ensuring the show would proceed smoothly without her presence.

In addition to the agency’s reassurances, the members themselves have demonstrated their close bond.

Sandara Park tagged Park Bom in photos posted from the festival, emphasizing their continued connection and friendship.

Park Bom, meanwhile, shared a photo on Instagram captioned, “On my way to the 2NE1 gathering,” which further reassured fans that the members reunited in Korea before the LA concert rather than in the United States.

With these clarifications, speculations about tensions or a possible rift within 2NE1 have been put to rest.

Fans can rest easy knowing that despite individual schedules, the group’s relationship remains strong, and future activities may still be on the horizon.
