Sanggyun, beloved idol and former member of ToppDogg and JBJ95, is set to begin his mandatory military service on May 16, 2025.
The news was shared on April 20 by KENTA SANGGYUN, who released an English statement announcing Sanggyun’s enlistment.
Fans of Sanggyun know him from his debut with ToppDogg in 2013, his breakout appearance on Produce 101 Season 2, and his time in project group JBJ, which led to the formation of the permanent duo JBJ95 with fellow member Kenta.
Known for his charismatic stage presence and warm personality, Sanggyun has also showcased his talents in variety and drama, notably starring in Romantic City and the mystery-romance drama I Wanna Hear Your Song.
As he prepares to serve his country, fans around the world are sending messages of support and love.
