Stray Kids member Seungmin will not be participating in the group’s comeback promotions scheduled for today due to health concerns.
On November 23, JYP Entertainment released an official statement announcing that Seungmin would be unable to appear in the live broadcast of SBS’s “Inkigayo” on that day. According to the agency, the singer is currently receiving treatment for inflammation in his foot and has been advised to rest.
The company explained that Seungmin had recently experienced discomfort around his foot and sought medical attention after noticing the symptoms. Following medical consultations, he began receiving treatment under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
Despite the condition, Seungmin completed the pre-recording for the day’s broadcast before visiting the hospital for additional treatment. During the treatment process, medical staff administered an injection as part of the procedure. However, doctors noted that the injection could temporarily increase the level of pain he was experiencing.
Although the treatment is expected to help his condition improve quickly, the medical team advised that he take sufficient rest for the remainder of the day to avoid worsening the inflammation. After reviewing the situation and following the medical staff’s recommendations, JYP Entertainment decided that Seungmin would sit out the day’s scheduled live appearance.
As a result, Seungmin did not join Stray Kids for the live broadcast of “Inkigayo,” which is one of the group’s major comeback promotion stages. The agency also addressed fans who had been anticipating his appearance and asked for their understanding regarding the sudden change in schedule.
JYP Entertainment emphasized that the decision was made with the artist’s health as the top priority. The company added that it will continue to provide support to ensure that Seungmin can recover quickly and safely before resuming his activities.
