A tragic incident occurred during the ‘AXE Ceremonia’ music festival on April 5th, 2025, in Mexico City, where the K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) was performing.

The accident took place at Parque Bicentenario when a metal crane structure collapsed around 5:30 PM local time due to a sudden gust of wind. The collapse fatally injured two individuals, later identified as photographers at the event.

Despite immediate emergency treatment and their transport to the hospital, both victims succumbed to their injuries.

In response, local authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause and accountability for the incident. Following the tragedy, the remainder of the festival was canceled.
