EJAE, the acclaimed vocalist and songwriter behind KPop Demon Hunters’ chart-dominating single “Golden,” has signed with WME for global representation across all areas.
Emerging as a standout talent from Netflix’s blockbuster animated musical film, EJAE serves as the singing voice of Rumi, the lead vocalist of the fictional girl group HUNTR/X.
In addition to her vocal performance, she also co-wrote several of the film’s most notable songs, including “Golden,” which became a worldwide phenomenon and a record-setting hit for a female K-pop act.
“Golden” remained at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks, making history as the first song by a female K-pop artist to top the chart. The track also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and has accumulated more than 800 million streams on Spotify.
The movie’s soundtrack, featuring EJAE’s contributions to tracks such as “How It’s Done,” “What It Sounds Like,” “Your Idol” (performed by the film’s rival boy group, Saja Boys), and the score highlight “Hunter’s Mantra”, became the first soundtrack ever to place four songs simultaneously within the Billboard Top 10.

EJAE’s rise has continued beyond the film’s success. She recently delivered a live performance of “Golden” with HUNTR/X on The Tonight Show and appeared in a skit on Saturday Night Live.
She was also named to Variety’s “10 Artisans to Watch” for 2025 and won Best Original Soundtrack at this year’s K-World Dream Awards, in addition to earning a nomination for Song of the Summer at the MTV VMAs.
Prior to KPop Demon Hunters, EJAE had already built a strong reputation as a creative powerhouse within the K-pop industry. Her songwriting and vocal production credits include work with some of the genre’s biggest names, such as aespa (“Drama,” “Armageddon”), Red Velvet (“Psycho”), Le Sserafim, TWICE, Taeyeon, NMIXX, and Fifty Fifty.
In 2022, she also earned a Hollywood Music in Media Awards nomination for Best Original Song in a Video Game for “Rebirth” from League of Legends.
