The K-pop world is abuzz with the news that Yoon San-ha, the multitalented youngest member of ASTRO, is officially returning to the music scene as a soloist.

On May 4, 2026, Fantagio delighted fans by releasing a comprehensive “promotion scheduler” for his upcoming third solo mini-album, titled “No Reason.”

This comeback is particularly significant as it marks his first solo release in ten months, following the success of his second EP, “Chameleon,” in July 2025.

San-ha has spent the intervening months showcasing his versatility through acting and variety shows, but this new musical chapter promises a deeper exploration of his maturing artistry and vocal identity.

The announcement was accompanied by aesthetic teaser imagery that hints at a sophisticated and perhaps introspective concept.

Fans, known as AROHA, have been eagerly dissecting the “No Reason” title, speculating on its thematic connection to San-ha’s personal journey.

As a performer who has evolved from a teenage idol into a refined solo artist, this album is expected to solidify his position as a prominent male vocalist in the industry.

The lead track, titled “IDK Me,” has already piqued curiosity, suggesting a theme of self-discovery or the complexities of modern identity.

A Strategic Countdown to the Big Reveal

The promotion for “No Reason” is designed as a steady crescendo, ensuring fans have a consistent stream of content leading up to the release date.

According to the official scheduler released by Fantagio, the journey begins on May 5 with the revealing of a “Mood Sampler,” offering the first auditory and visual glimpse into the album’s atmosphere.

This will be followed immediately by the opening of album pre-orders on May 6 at 2:00 PM KST, allowing dedicated followers to secure their copies early.

The visual storytelling of the album will be revealed through two distinct sets of concept photos.

The “Undefined” version will be released on May 7, followed by the “Unbound” version on May 8.

These titles suggest a contrast between structured and free-form aesthetics, further emphasizing the album’s artistic depth.

Fantagio stated,

“The singer will also release two versions of concept photos- ‘Undefined’ and ‘Unbound’-  along with the album’s track list and a highlight medley at later dates, according to the scheduler.”

This deliberate pacing ensures that each aspect of the album receives its own moment in the spotlight.

Key Milestones and Final Preparations

As the release date approaches, the focus will shift toward the music itself.

The official tracklist is set to be revealed on May 11, followed by a “Highlight Medley” on May 12, which will provide snippets of all the songs included in the EP.

After a brief pause for the “After Scheduler” on May 14, the final promotional push will feature two separate music video teasers for the title track “IDK Me,” scheduled for release on May 18 and 19.

The climax of this journey occurs on May 20, 2026, when the mini-album and the full music video for “IDK Me” will be released globally.

Fantagio confirmed the timeline, noting, “Yoon San-ha of boy band Astro will release his third solo EP ‘No Reason’ on May 20… marks the singer’s first solo release in 10 months.”

In addition to the album release, San-ha is confirmed to perform at the ‘2026 Weverse Con Festival’ in June, ensuring that “No Reason” will be a central part of the summer’s musical landscape.

This comeback isn’t just about new music; it’s a testament to San-ha’s consistent growth and his unwavering commitment to his craft.
