YG Entertainment’s powerhouse girl group, BABYMONSTER, has officially revealed the much-anticipated first leg of their 2026-27 world tour, titled “CHOOM.”

On May 11, the agency released a detailed schedule for the Asia and Oceania dates, signaling the beginning of a massive global undertaking for the group.

This tour marks a significant milestone in their career, as it represents their transition from high-profile rookies to a touring force capable of command major international venues.

The “CHOOM” tour is expected to showcase the group’s high-energy choreography and powerful live vocals that have become their signature since their debut.

According to the official announcement, the tour will kick off with a grand two-night event at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena (KSPO Dome) on September 19 and 20, 2026.

Following their domestic launch, the group will head across Asia and Oceania through early 2027.

A representative from YG Entertainment emphasized the scale of the production, stating:

“This tour is designed to showcase the full spectrum of BABYMONSTER’s ‘CHOOM’ (dance) and musicality.

We have put immense effort into creating a stage that allows the members to connect intimately with their fans while delivering a world-class performance.”

A Comprehensive Trek Across Asia and Oceania

The schedule released today confirms a rigorous itinerary that covers several major cultural hubs.

After the Seoul kickoff, the group will travel to Manila for a performance on October 3, followed by a stop in Bangkok on October 10- a homecoming of sorts for member Pharita and Chiquita, where fan anticipation is expected to be at an all-time high.

The tour continues through Jakarta on October 17 and Taipei on October 24.

As the year winds down, BABYMONSTER will head to Japan for multiple shows, including Tokyo on November 7 and 8, and Osaka on November 14 and 15, capitalizing on their immense popularity in the Japanese market.

The early months of 2027 will see the group expanding their reach into Oceania.

They are scheduled to perform in Sydney on January 9 and Melbourne on January 14, marking their first major solo headline concerts in Australia.

Following these dates, they will return to Southeast Asia with stops in Singapore on January 23 and Ho Chi Minh City on January 30.

The announcement of these specific locations has already sparked a frenzy on social media, as “MONSTIEZ” (the group’s fandom) across these regions have been vocal about their desire for a full-scale tour since the group’s “See You There” fanmeet circuit.

Elevating the “Monster” Concept to the Global Stage

The “CHOOM” world tour is not just a series of concerts but a strategic move by YG Entertainment to solidify BABYMONSTER’s position as leaders of the fifth generation of K-pop.

The title “CHOOM,” which translates to “dance” in Korean, suggests a heavy emphasis on the group’s performance-heavy discography, including hits like “SHEESH” and “BATTER UP.”

Industry analysts suggest that the choice of venues- many of which are large-scale arenas- reflects the agency’s confidence in the group’s ticket-selling power.

YG Entertainment added in their statement:

“We are preparing a variety of special stages and rearranged versions of their hit songs to provide a unique experience that can only be felt at a live concert.”

Beyond the music, the tour is expected to feature high-concept visual storytelling, utilizing state-of-the-art stage technology and lighting to bring the “Monster” theme to life.

The inclusion of Oceania in this initial announcement is also seen as a proactive step in building a truly global footprint early in their career.

While the current list of dates focuses on Asia and Oceania, the agency has teased that “further dates for North America, Europe, and other regions will be announced in subsequent waves.”

This staggered rollout has kept fans in the West on high alert, waiting for their turn to see the septet live.

As the ticketing dates approach- with pre-sales for the Seoul shows expected to begin in late May- the focus remains on the group’s preparation.

The members have reportedly been involved in the creative direction of the tour, from setlist selection to costume design.

With the “CHOOM” world tour, BABYMONSTER is poised to prove that they are not just digital chart-toppers, but a formidable live act capable of captivating audiences on a global scale.

Fans are encouraged to keep a close watch on official channels for ticketing links and potential added dates due to high demand.

Stay tuned for more updates as the “CHOOM” era officially begins its trek around the world.
