Global pop icons BTS are set to open the South American leg of their massive “ARIRANG” World Tour starting October 2, 2026.

The upcoming run covers 14 stadium performances across five major cities, marking the group’s highly anticipated return to the continent as well as their first-ever group concerts in key markets like Colombia, Peru, and Argentina.

The official announcement comes immediately following the successful completion of their North American leg, where the group wrapped up 31 consecutive sold-out shows while maintaining a strong ongoing presence on the Billboard 200 album charts.

As the octagonal tour rollout shifts toward Latin America, local governments and municipal authorities across all five host cities are actively setting up joint security operations, crowd management protocols, and citywide cultural events to accommodate the massive influx of international and local fans.

Tour Itinerary and Regional Milestones Across Five Host Cities

The South American leg will kick off in Bogotá, Colombia, on October 2 and 3 with two performances at the Estadio Nemesio Camacho El Campín.

This opening weekend holds historical significance for both the group and local supporters, representing BTS’s very first time visiting and performing in Colombia as a complete group.

Following the Bogotá dates, the tour heads to Lima, Peru, for two consecutive shows at Estadio San Marcos on October 9 and 10, marking another historic first-time stop for the group in the country.

The middle stretch of the tour brings BTS to Santiago, Chile, where they will perform at the Estadio Nacional on October 16 and 17.

The Santiago dates were finalized after local organizers resolved venue authorization and safety reviews, setting up one of the largest concert gatherings in the city’s history.

From Chile, the group moves to Argentina for a three-night engagement outside Buenos Aires at the Estadio Único de La Plata on October 21, 23, and 24.

For these landmark Argentine shows, the production team has designed an expansive 360-degree stage layout positioned directly at the center of the stadium field to maximize audience interaction.

The South American leg officially concludes in São Paulo, Brazil, with a three-night stadium finale at MorumBIS on October 28, 30, and 31.

Municipal Honors and Citywide Preparations

Because the “ARIRANG” tour marks BTS’s inaugural full-group visit to much of the South American continent, local government bodies and tourism agencies are treating the concert series as a high-priority cultural event.

In Argentina, the La Plata City Council voted unanimously to officially declare BTS as Guests of Honor, explicitly citing the unprecedented scale of the group’s global cultural impact.

To handle the logistical demands, local municipal leaders and provincial authorities in Buenos Aires have established joint operations specifically dedicated to crowd control and transportation management around the stadium for an estimated 150,000 incoming attendees.

Similarly, in Colombia, the official tourism board (Visit Bogotá) formally highlighted the tour kickoff at El Campín as a flagship 2026 cultural showcase that positions the capital on the global live-music map.

In Peru, local authorities hosted pre-tour fan gatherings- including the “Road to 7: El Comienzo” event at Lima’s Magic Water Circuit- to welcome visiting fandoms ahead of the October concerts.

With all 14 stadium dates set to draw record-breaking crowds throughout October, municipal authorities across South America are finalizing their preparations to ensure seamless operations as BTS launches this next chapter of their global tour.
