On the morning of January 27, Cube Entertainment issued a statement, noting that Minnie and Yuqi are experiencing a decline in their overall condition, leading to a temporary pause in all schedules.

“Hello. This is Cube Entertainment. We wish to share details about the health and upcoming schedules of (G)I-DLE members Minnie and Yuqi.”

On the 26th, Minnie and Yuqi sought medical attention at the hospital due to sudden symptoms of fever and migraines, signaling a decline in their overall condition. Based on medical professionals’ diagnoses, we have chosen to temporarily halt all schedules preceding their comeback. Currently, their primary focus is on ample rest and treatment.

“We sincerely apologize for causing concern to the fans eagerly awaiting (G)I-DLE’s comeback. Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE is preparing for a comeback. The girl group is set to unveil their second full-length album, “[2]”, on January 29 at 6 PM (KST). On the 22nd, they dropped the pre-release track “Wife” from the upcoming album.
