GRID Entertainment Welcomes Former Trainee A Members Leo & Sangwon

On May 24, GRID Entertainment announced the addition of two new artists, Leo and Sangwon, to its roster.

The agency introduced the pair with the phrase, “Bound as One, Leo & Sangwon,” accompanied by sleek profile photos that highlight their fresh start.

Both Leo and Sangwon were previously part of Trainee A, a debut lineup teased by Big Hit Entertainment in 2022.

Unfortunately, Trainee A’s debut was canceled in December 2022, leading all six members to pursue separate paths.

Notably, Yorch, another Trainee A alumnus, debuted as the leader of GRID Entertainment’s boy group POW, which is set for a comeback on June 27.

Following Trainee A’s disbandment, Leo signed with 131 Label and debuted as a solo artist in August 2023 with the digital single “One Look.”

Now, joining GRID Entertainment marks a new chapter for both Leo and Sangwon as they prepare for future projects under the agency.
