BLACKPINK’s Jennie has demonstrated her philanthropic spirit by donating 100 million won through the BLINK fan club to Habitat for Humanity Korea. The donation will aid in the construction of Rodem International Alternative School in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, benefiting Koryo-saram youth in adapting healthily to Korean culture and society.

The Rodem International Alternative School is important for Koryo-saram youth settled in Korea, providing essential support for their living and academic endeavours. Due to unsuitable living conditions and lack of school accreditation, constructing a proper school structure is essential for their education and well-being.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie made her debut at the 2024 MET Gala.

Expressing gratitude for Jennie’s heartfelt contribution, Habitat for Humanity Korea stated, “We are thankful for Jennie’s support in building a school where children can nurture their dreams. We are committed to promptly commencing the construction project.”

In addition to her philanthropic endeavors, Jennie recently collaborated with Zico on the song “SPOT!” released in April. This dual showcase of artistic and charitable contributions underscores Jennie’s positive influence and dedication to making a difference in various aspects of society.
