JYP Entertainment has provided an update regarding legal action taken in response to serious invasions of privacy involving Xdinary Heroes. The agency expressed gratitude to fans for their continued support and addressed the recent incident in which individuals unlawfully entered the artists’ residence.
According to the statement, a criminal complaint has been filed with the appropriate police station against those responsible for the trespass. The court has since issued a provisional measure under South Korea’s Act on Punishment of Crime of Stalking. JYP Entertainment confirmed that it is fully cooperating with investigative authorities to ensure strict legal consequences for the suspects currently undergoing proceedings.
Despite ongoing legal action and prior warnings, the agency reported continued incidents of individuals lingering near the artists’ residence and company headquarters while waiting for them. Such behavior has been described as a serious threat to the artists’ personal safety and an unacceptable invasion of privacy.
In response, JYP Entertainment announced stricter measures to safeguard the group. Any actions that infringe upon the artists’ safety and rights, including residential trespass, illegal filming, leaking personal information, or repeated privacy violations, will be immediately referred to investigative authorities. Security and patrols around both the residence and company headquarters will be strengthened, and offenders caught in the act will face prompt legal action.
Additionally, individuals found engaging in such misconduct will be permanently barred from participating in any official Xdinary Heroes activities. The agency emphasized its commitment to protecting the artists and called on fans to help foster a respectful and responsible fan culture.
