JYP announced plans to launch this subsidiary in the Latin American music market in the third quarter of 2024. This move aims to expand tour regions for affiliated artists, create new business opportunities, and establish communication channels with local fans.

JYP also introduced their first major project and audition program, LatinAmerica2Korea (L2K). “We will introduce a Latin girl group based on the K-pop system,” JYP stated. To achieve this, they are partnering with Universal Music Latino, a Latin label under Universal Music Group.

In 2023, JYP launched the audition program America2Korea (A2K), a global girl group project, in collaboration with Republic Records, the No. 1 label in the U.S. under Universal Music Group. A2K held auditions in five major North American cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Dallas, and LA, leading to the debut of the girl group VCHA.
