Super Junior’s Kyuhyun has recently faced a wave of harsh criticism following his appearance on Netflix’s variety show “The Devil’s Plan: Death Room.”

After all episodes were released, some viewers posted malicious comments online targeting Kyuhyun, as well as fellow cast members Yoon So Hee and Jung Hyun Gyu, criticizing their gameplay and spreading negativity on social media and online communities.

In response, Kyuhyun’s agency Antenna issued an official statement on June 4, condemning the harmful posts which they say have crossed the line beyond freedom of expression.

The agency highlighted that the malicious comments include slander, false information, abusive language, incitement to disrupt Kyuhyun’s activities, and even sexual harassment, which not only hurt the artist but also affect the mental health of fans.

Antenna confirmed they are gathering evidence and preparing to take strong legal action against those responsible.

The agency vowed to continue pursuing legal measures to protect their artists from defamation and similar harmful acts moving forward.

They closed their statement by thanking fans for their ongoing support and promising to safeguard the rights and well-being of their artists.
