JYP Entertainment girl group NMIXX has officially announced their highly anticipated return to the K-pop scene, unveiling the release date and complete track list for their sixth extended play, titled “Strange Muse”.
On September 21, 2026, at midnight KST, the group dropped their teaser materials across official social media channels, confirming that the new EP will be released on October 19, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST.
The announcement marks the six-member group’s first official comeback in five months following their previous mini-album “Heavy Serenade”.
The mini-album features a total of six tracks, headlined by the lead single “Birthday Wish”.
In an exciting shift for the group’s discography, “Strange Muse” also introduces sub-unit tracks for the very first time since their 2022 debut, showcasing distinct member combinations across three unit songs.
Track List Breakdown and Sub-Unit Highlights
The official track list for “Strange Muse” presents a dynamic mix of full-group music alongside tailored sub-unit performances designed to showcase the vocal and performance diversity of each member. The six tracks included on the mini-album are:

The inclusion of sub-units marks a major milestone for NMIXX. Main vocalists Lily and Haewon pair up for “Sing to the Moon”, Sullyoon and Bae join forces on “Hot ‘n Unbothered”, and performance line duo Jiwoo and Kyujin deliver “WHIP”.
This tailored arrangement allows each member to highlight their unique artistic colors and vocal strengths in concentrated pairings.
Continued Momentum and Upcoming World Tour Finale
The announcement of “Strange Muse” continues a strong year of growth for NMIXX.
Their previous fifth EP, “Heavy Serenade”, achieved widespread critical and commercial success, securing top-five rankings on major digital streaming charts such as Melon Top 100 and taking home multiple first-place trophies on television music broadcast shows.
Following the release of “Strange Muse” on October 19, NMIXX will gear up to conclude their yearlong world tour, “EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER”.
The global tour, which has taken the group across 17 international cities since late 2025, will culminate in a grand three-night encore concert at the Inspire Arena in Incheon from November 27 to November 29, 2026.
