Police are investigating trot singer Kim Ho Joong for a hit-and-run in Apgujeong-dong on May 9. Despite owning the vehicle involved, Kim has not shown up at the police station despite repeated requests.
His manager initially claimed responsibility for the accident, surrendering himself to authorities hours after the incident, but suspicions arose when he arrived wearing clothes similar to Kim’s.
Kim eventually appeared at the police station approximately 17 hours after the accident and underwent a breathalyzer test, which yielded negative results. He later admitted to being the driver.
