On May 2, Seohyun appeared on Hyeri’s YouTube show ‘Hyell’s Club’ and revealed that she has started speaking informally with her fellow Girls’ Generation members, a shift that has excited her.

Seohyun, who has always used honorifics with her members since elementary school, explained that the transition to casual speech began after Yuri suggested it.

Despite the members’ encouragement, Seohyun had resisted the change for years due to feeling awkward.

She shared that a turning point came during her role in a drama, where she had to speak casually with a senior actor.

This experience helped her realize how much more natural and comfortable it felt, prompting her to break the casual speech barrier with her Girls’ Generation members.

So far, she has done so with Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, and Tiffany, while her interactions with Sunny remain more formal.

Seohyun also mentioned that, despite being the youngest in Girls’ Generation, she has developed an “older sister” complex, where she enjoys looking after others, especially younger artists.

She jokingly noted that her own members never ask her to buy them things, a reversal of roles she now finds herself in.

In the same appearance, Seohyun discussed her personality, identifying as an ENTJ, and shared that she doesn’t enjoy playing games in relationships, preferring to invest her energy elsewhere.

On the professional front, Seohyun recently starred in the film ‘Holy Night: Demon Hunters’, where she shared a memorable moment with Ma Dong Seok.

She recalled a particularly intense action scene where Ma Dong Seok broke down a door with his bare hands during filming.

Seohyun’s candid moments about her relationships with Girls’ Generation and her professional life are a refreshing look into her evolving dynamics with the group and her growing sense of self.
