On the May 25 episode of JTBC’s variety show Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, SEVENTEEN members Hoshi and Woozi appeared as special guests to celebrate the group’s 10th anniversary.

The episode featured a high-stakes culinary showdown between top chefs, sparked by the members’ well-known appetites and unique tastes.

Woozi surprised everyone by revealing his impressive eating habits, stating that he needs to consume at least six hamburgers or several packets of instant noodles to feel full.

Beyond his hearty appetite, Woozi also impressed the chefs with his insightful culinary knowledge, commenting on cooking methods and techniques with a surprising level of expertise.

The first round of the competition focused on Hoshi’s love for kimchi, challenging the chefs to create innovative dishes centered around this traditional Korean staple.

Chef Kim Sohee confidently declared her fondness for kimchi, while her opponent, Fabrizio Ferrari, raised the stakes by proudly calling himself a “global kimchi ambassador.”

Fabrizio then stunned everyone with a series of bold, fusion-style kimchi dishes that combined Korean flavors with Western techniques, pushing the boundaries so far that fellow chef Kim Poong remarked,

“Even I think this crossed the line,” and Kwon Sungjoon joked that Fabrizio might face repercussions back in Italy for his daring creations.

In the second round, the competition became even more intense as a $7,000 group dinner for SEVENTEEN was put on the line.

Hoshi revealed that the group once spent a similar amount on a team meal, and this time, they would celebrate their anniversary at the winning chef’s restaurant, motivating the chefs to bring their best.

Chefs Yoon Namno and Kwon Sungjoon crafted emotionally charged dishes that reflected SEVENTEEN’s decade-long journey, imbuing their plates with personal stories and heartfelt dedication.

With the fate of the dinner resting in the hands of Hoshi and Woozi, fans were left eager to see which chef would claim victory and the honor of hosting the special anniversary celebration.
