After more than a decade, the original 15 members of Super Junior reunited at Ryeowook and Ari’s wedding, creating a heartwarming moment for fans with their group chant and a performance of their hit song’s 2024 version.

On May 26, Ryeowook and former TAHITI member Ari tied the knot in a private ceremony in Seoul, surrounded by family and close friends. The couple, who began dating publicly in 2020, shared their joy with loved ones, and fans eagerly followed the event through clips and photos shared online.

The wedding became even more special for ELFs (Super Junior’s fandom) when they saw that all 15 original members attended.

A photo featuring the 13 core members, including Sungmin and former members Kangin, Kibum, and Hangeng, spread quickly, touching the hearts of fans. Emotions ran higher when videos surfaced showing Super Junior-M members Henry and Zhou Mi also present.

During the ceremony, Super Junior performed the 2024 version of their megahit “Sorry Sorry,” a song that holds significant meaning as it propelled the group’s international fame. The performance was a highlight, showcasing the group’s unity and musical talent.

Adding to the nostalgia, the group performed their iconic chant under leader Leeteuk’s direction. When he shouted, “Urineun Super Juni–,” the members instinctively responded with their hand sign, completing the chant with “OEYO!”

An official later confirmed the reunion, stating, “All Super Junior members attended, and the wedding was completed, which added more meaning to it. Ryeowook got married in joy, receiving warm blessings from the entire Super Junior group.”

This marked the first time OT15 reunited since Han Geng’s departure in 2009 following a lawsuit against SM Entertainment. Various factors, such as military enlistments and members leaving the group, had prevented previous reunions.
